Singapore's largest nature reserve covers more than 2,000 hectares and over 20 kilometres of trails around four reservoirs. Its best-known route circles MacRitchie Reservoir and crosses the TreeTop Walk, a 250-metre suspension bridge through the forest canopy.

Getting there

MacRitchie Reservoir Park is a short taxi or bus ride from Caldecott or Marymount MRT stations.

Safety tips

Trails are well maintained but humid; carry water, and expect the TreeTop Walk to close at short notice during lightning, which is common on tropical afternoons.
