The Southern Ridges string together Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park, HortPark and Kent Ridge Park along 10 kilometres of paved trail and elevated walkways, including Henderson Waves, the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore.

Getting there

Start at HarbourFront MRT for the Mount Faber end, or Kent Ridge Park / one-north MRT for the western end.

Safety tips

This is a paved, low-risk route, but sections are fully exposed to sun; carry water on the midday stretch between Mount Faber and Telok Blangah.

What to bring

  • Water
  • Sun protection, since much of the route is elevated and unshaded
  • Comfortable walking shoes; hiking boots are not needed
